PENTENS T-308M Crystalline Cementitious Waterproofing Compound

PENTENS T-308-M A reactive crystalline type waterproofing material which creates long chained complexes a non-soluble crystalline to seal concrete pores and capillary tracks.

PHYSICAL DATA

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation
All the surfaces, joint between slab and wall must be clean, free from grease, oil, laitance, and remove all the dirt and contaminants, which might affect adhesion. Rout out and repair all cracks larger than 0.4 mm in width.

Mixing
For brush application: Add 3 parts of PENTENS T-308M to 1 part clean water by volume and mix thoroughly to produce a suitable brushing mixture.
For spray application: the approximate mixing ratio is 5 parts powder to 2 parts clean water.
The mixture should be used up within 30 minutes, after then it starts to thicken. Do not add water once mixture starts to harden.

Application
Install 2 coats of PENTENS T-308-M in slurry consistency with a semi-stiff nylon bristle brush, push broom or specialized spray equipment. 
Apply second coat while the first coat is still tacky (less than 48 hours).

Curing
Note: Spray PENTENS T-007 (dilute with water 10:1) used for curing the T-308-M will be more efficient to used in lieu of water curing. (For certain applications consult with PENTENS Corporation or nearest distributor)

SAFETY

Impervious gloves and barrier cream should be used when handling these products.
Eye protection should be worn. In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
If contact with skin occurs, it must be removed before curing takes place.
Wash off with an industrial skin clearer followed by plenty of soap and water. Do not use solvent.
Ensure adequate ventilation when using these products.​
